Description:
Mixing mpellers make the liquid and gas medium accomplish forced convection and uniform mixing. The purpose of the turbine impeller is to transmit the energy generated by the motor to the product in most efficient way in order to achieve the desired effect in a short time. The type, size and revolving speed of the turbine impellers will have an effect on stirring power distribution between overall flow and turbulent pulsation. Mixing impellers in agitated tanks are used to stir fluids or slurry in the tank, which can make the solid, liquid and gas materials mixed.

Products Categories:
1. According to the model of the blades, the mixing impellers can be divided into the following types: paddles, mixing propellers, turbine impeller, anchor agitator and helical ribbon impeller.
2. The mixing impeller also can be grouped into axial flow impeller and radial flow impeller in accordance with the flow regime.

Applications:
1. Propellers with a high working speed are made of 2~3 pieces of pusher propeller blades. The circular velocity at the outer edge of the blade is 5~15m/s.
2. The turbine impeller mainly creates axial flow and produces bigger circulation volume, which is applied to mix low viscosity (<2Pa·s) liquid and emulsion as well as suspension with solid particle content less than 10%.
3. Helical ribbon impeller is specially used to stir high viscosity liquid (200~500Pa·s) and pseudo-plastic fluid. It is generally operated in laminar conditions.
4. Turbine impeller is equipped with 2~4 pieces of flat or curved blades on the horizontal disc. Its power distribution is good for turbulent pulsation.
5. Radial flow impeller imposes shear stress to the fluid, and is used to mix immiscible liquids and viscous fluids or break deformable interface.
6. Axial flow turbine impeller enhances bulk motion, and is used on homogenization processes, in which is important to increase fluid volumetric flow rate.
7. The helical ribbon impeller can be extrapolated to industrial scale according to obtained amplification criterion.
8. In the same power consumption, the power of large diameter and low-speed revolution turbine impeller mainly consumes in overall flow which benefits macro mixing.
9. The power of small diameter and high-speed revolution helical ribbon impeller mainly consumes in turbulent pulsation which benefits micro mixing.
